According to a survey conducted by in May 2021 in South Korea on the reasons for multiple streaming service subscriptions, roughly percent of respondents between 16 and 24 years old answered it was because the shows they were interested in were spread over different services. This was the most common reason given for multiple service subscriptions among all age groups.
