According to a recent survey, 28 percent of Italian respondents preferred a larger European Union. On the other hand, 23 percent identified with the EU as it was in the intermediate phase, when it had only 15 members. Generally, between 2011 and 2021 the attitudes towards the European Union experienced a contrastive change.
