Sue Bird, who played point guard for the Seattle Storm of the Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA) between 2002 and 2022 led the all-time list of assists within the league as of April 2026. Having been chosen as the first overall pick for the Storm in 2002, Bird amassed 3,234 assists in her 20-year career.
