In 2021, there was a general increase in the approval of the French for the various measures to prevent discrimination in the working environment. Indeed, almost **** out of ten people stated that they were in favor of strengthening legal sanctions in Europe against employers who discriminate on the basis of origin, nationality, skin color or religion (** percent, an increase of points compared with 2019). By March 2022, this proportion had decreased to ** percent.
