In March 2021, nearly 40 percent of Russians stated that the the main failure of Vladimir Putin's presidency was in the area of improving in living standards and raising salaries and pensions. The second most common opinion was that the presidency failed to fight corruption and bribery in the country. When asked about Putin's major achievements, the majority named the improved military force.
