According to a survey from 2019, mobile payment was the most popular digital service offered by travel accommodations in Italy. Data show that ** percent of accommodations already offered this service as well as percent of facilities claimed to introduce it during the following 12 months. Moreover, roughly ** percent of accommodations did not use this digital service, but were interested in it. Conversely, only *** percent of tourist accommodations involved in the survey offered a chatbot service in 2019.
