From January to April 2020, the weekly duration of viewing content on iQiyi across Southeast Asia increased dramatically, in which viewing durations increased by *** percent. In comparison, weekly viewing durations of Netflix also experienced a growth in Southeast Asia in 2020, in which the viewing durations increased by *** percent. The increased viewing times were during the lockdown period, caused by the outbreak of the coronavirus.
