According to a survey conducted by on Malaysians' media consumption during the Movement Control Order (MCO) period, ** percent of respondents were using Facebook as their main news source during the pre-MCO period. However, after the third phase, ** percent relied on Facebook. More Malaysians were also referring to their Ministry of Health (MOH) for information. During the pre-MCO period, ** percent did so and by phase three, ** percent used the MOH as their main news source. The Malaysian government issued the (MCO) period for two weeks from March 18, 2020. It has been extended again to June 9.
