A survey on Malaysians and their media consumption during the COVID-19 Movement Control Order (MCO) period found that ** percent of respondents watched action programs during that time. Action, followed by comedy and horror were the top three genres watched by Malaysians during the MCO. Malaysia introduced the MCO on March 18 to slow down the spread of COVID-19. The MCO was extended for the third time till May 12.
