The age group with the highest number of users of medical cannabis in Denmark during the period from first quarter 2018 to fourth quarter 2023 were adults between 42 and 64 years. In the fourth quarter of 2023, there were around 4,200 users in the age group from 42 to 64 years. The age group with the lowest number of users throughout the period was the group including children and adolescents up to 17 years. In the fourth quarter of 2023, there were 126 users in the group aged 17 years and younger.
