In the second quarter of 2024/25, only 75.2 percent of A&E attendances were attended to within four hours: from arrival to admission, transfer, or discharge. According to operational standards set in 2010, at least 95 percent of patients attending A&E should be admitted, transferred or discharged within four hours. This standard was last met in the second quarter of 2014/15.
