The number of new medical cannabis users in Denmark increased steadily throughout the period from the first quarter of 2018 to the fourth quarter of 2023. In the first quarter 2018, there were 712 new medicinal cannabis users. Until the fourth quarter of 2023, the number of new medicinal cannabis users had increased to around 8,800.
