According to a 2018 survey, seven out of ten people living in Mexico City substitute their consumption of red meat during the Lent-Easter period. On the other hand, 30 percent of respondents do not modify their usual red meat intake during this season. Particularly, six percent of respondents do not change anything in their diet because they do not eat red meat often.
