Primary care doctors planning end-of-life care with patients in select countries 2019
In 2019, 100 percent of primary care physicians in the Netherlands reported that they routinely or occasionally have conversations with their patients about end-of-life care preferences in the event that the patient becomes unable to make decisions themselves. In comparison, 72 percent of physicians in Sweden indicated routinely or occasionally having such conversations.
