Survey on the preference for fair trade products in Germany 2019-2024
In 2024, around million consumers in Germany paid attention to a fair trade seal when shopping. Figures increased year-on-year during the specified time period. The data is based on a survey conducted in Germany on the number of people who pay attention when shopping that their purchases are fair trade certified. The data in this statistic is from the Allensbach Market and Advertising Media Analysis (Allensbacher Markt- und Werbeträgeranalyse or AWA in German), which determines attitudes, consumer habits and media usage of the population in Germany on a broad statistical basis.
