In France, the second round of the presidential elections took place on Sunday, April 24, 2022, and the incumbent president, Emmanuel Macron, was re-elected for a second term, with more than ** percent of the votes cast. The age groups among which he obtained the highest number of votes are those of 18 to 24-year-olds, and among those over 60 years old. On the other hand, people between 25 and 59 years old voted more for the far-right candidate, who was in the majority among 50 to 59-year-olds.
