According to a survey conducted in December 2018, ** percent of respondents in the 18 to 24 years age group agreed that there was a lack of special offers on healthy foods in Malaysia. Malaysia has one of the highest rates of obesity in Asia, and has recently introduced a sugar tax to combat obesity.
