According to a survey among South Koreans in January 2025, almost two thirds of respondents in their twenties who shopped during the last year stated that they used their smartphone for online shopping. Shopping online via smartphone was more common among the younger generations, whereas for respondents in their fifties the usage dropped to around ** percent.
