This chart presents the main areas of concern when it comes to personal data usage among French people in a survey from 2019. It appears that more than 80 percent of the respondents mentioned the commercial or marketing uses of their data as a topic of concern. Furthermore, that personal data could be used by insurance companies was rather worrisome for more than half of those surveyed.
