Statistics
ÌÇÐÄÆƽâ°æ gives you access to more than one million statistics across over 80,000 topics from more than 22,500 sources. Every day, our content teams update existing statistics and add new ones so you always work with the most up-to-date data available.
We distinguish between Basic Statistics, about 7% of our data, which can be accessed without an account or with our Basic Account, and our Premium Statistics, approximately 93% of our data, which you can use by upgrading to a Starter or Professional Account.
Each statistic has its own detail page that combines the chart, key figures, and helpful context so you can quickly understand and reuse the data:

An overview of the statistic detail page
A statistic page provides everything you need to interpret and work with a single data set:
- A clear chart that visualizes the data over time or across categories.
- A table view that displays all values in a structured list for easier reading and export.
- Filters and dropdowns that let you switch between categories, regions, or time periods, depending on the statistic.
- A short text explanation that summarizes the most important insights and gives additional background.
- Information about the survey time, region, data source, and last update, so you always know how current the data is.
- Quick actions to download the statistic, copy the data, share the link, or access the source details.
This layout helps you understand at a glance what the statistic shows, how it was collected, and how you can best reuse it in your own work.

Ask AI on statistic pages
On every statistic page, you can use the Ask AI button in the top right corner. When you click it, a panel opens on the right side of the screen while your statistic stays visible.
In this panel, Research AI summarizes the key insights from the statistic you are currently viewing in clear, simple language. You can then type follow-up questions in your own words, for example, if you want a different angle on the data or need help interpreting specific values. This helps you explore and understand a statistic in more depth without leaving the page.

"Your next step" recommendations
At the bottom of each statistic page, you will find a "Your next step" section. This area shows recommended statistics that are closely related to the one you are viewing. For example:
- Follow-up rankings on the same topic or for different years
- Additional breakdowns by country, region, or company
- Other popular statistics that help you deepen your analysis
You can either open the full version of a recommended statistic or preview it first. This makes it easier to discover relevant content without starting a new search.

How to access statistics
Option 1: Navigation bar
Use the navigation bar to open the most popular statistics from different industries. From there, you can also access lists of recent and popular statistics and navigate to related topics and studies.

Option 2: Search bar
Enter your search term in the search bar and make sure the content type filter "Statistics" is selected. The search results will then show all matching statistics. Clicking on a result opens the updated statistic detail page with chart, table, and recommendations.

Option 3: Using Research AI
You can also access statistics via Research AI. Ask your question in natural language, for example, "What are the largest companies in the world by market capitalization in 2025?", and Research AI will generate a concise answer based exclusively on ÌÇÐÄÆƽâ°æ content.
In its response, the tool highlights the most relevant statistics and provides direct links to the underlying statistic pages, so you can open the full chart, table, and download options from within the AI answer. This allows you to discover and access statistics even if you start with a question rather than a specific keyword or title.
