Kindle is the first choice amongst UK readers who own an e-reading device. More than **** of them use Amazon’s electronic book, according to the Survey Data Table for the ��ƽ�� survey on e-books in the United Kingdom 2017. Kobo Reader comes *** on the list followed by a close competition between Sony and Nook.

The trend is quite similar amongst UK consumers who are planning to purchase their next e-reading device. A vast majority of the UK readers will opt for Kindle followed by Kobo and Nook. This might have something to do with its battery capacity because as per UK respondents, this is the single most important criterion when purchasing an e-reading device.

Having said that, not a wide majority of UK consumers are planning to purchase a new e-reading device soon. This might have something to do with the general belief amongst the readers that it is impossible for electronic devices to match the charisma of reading a print book.
