The electric vehicle (EV) market in the Asia-Pacific region has expanded rapidly in recent years, driven by government support through various incentives for both manufacturers and consumers, with the goal of reducing carbon emissions from the transport sector. In 2024, China, the largest EV market globally, accounted for nearly two-thirds of global electric car sales, with more than 11 million electric cars sold.
