This statistic presents the number of MEPs in the European Parliament by political group. Although the center-right European People's Party (EPP) and the center-left Socialists and Democrats (S&D) parties emerged from the European Elections of 2019 as the two largest parties in the European Parliament, they suffered significant losses when compared with the last elections in 2009 and 2014.
