A survey carried out between 2013 and 2018 found out that the share of people in Brazil with a positive view of the United States has increased. When asked how they would describe their opinion of the U.S., ** percent of Brazilian respondents said they had either a good or a very good perception of the United States in 2018, up from ** percent recorded a year earlier.

Nevertheless, the rate of positive perceptions of the United States in overall Latin America has been decreasing recently.
