This statistic illustrates the awareness of U.S. citizens being able to report public safety issues to their local government agencies via digital technologies in 2016. During the surveyed period, ** percent of citizens stated that they were aware of the ability to digitally report a safety concern such as a downed power line or sinkhole to their local government agency, while in comparison only ** percent had the same awareness when it came to digitally reporting a drunk driver.
