This statistic presents the share of consumers in the United Kingdom (UK) that use different authentication methods when logging in to their online bank in 2017. It is observed that the most popular method used for logging in to online banking was with a username and password with 69 percent. The least popular method (other than 'other method' at 3 percent) was the use of Call (automated phone call from the bank with a one-time code) which was used by 7 percent of consumers surveyed.
