This survey shows the answers to a survey question on which channels consumers in the Netherlands used to close their mortgage from the first quarter of 2010 to the first quarter of 2017. The value of mortgages in 2017 is forecasted to increase with approximately *** percent compared to 2016. Between 2006 and 2016, the total mortgage debt from households in the Netherlands increased from approximately *** billion euros in 2006 to approximately *** billion euros in 2016. In the **** of 2016, the market share of mortgage turnover in the Netherlands reached approximately ** percent for the three banks ABN Amro, Rabobank and ING.
