The number of employees at Mexico's national oil corporation Pemex (and its subsidiaries) has been mostly declining lately. By the end of 2024, the company employed around ** people, which represents an increase of nearly 16 percent in comparison to one decade ago. Pemex, once one of the largest oil companies in the world, has reported an annual drop in crude oil production throughout the past decade.
