The number of visits to the most popular free tourist attractions in Wales increased in 2021 over the previous year, after dropping in 2020 due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. In 2021, Barry Island Pleasure Park was the country's most visited free attraction, with roughly 1.25 million visits. Another two parks, Tir Prince Fun Park and Pembrey Country Park, followed on the ranking that year, with around one million and 804.5 thousand visits, respectively.
