The OC&C-Proposition-Index illustrates findings from an online consumer survey conducted worldwide. It is based on responses from 30,000 consumers toward service promises made by 850 retail trade businesses (of which 95 were German; source does not specify origin of other businesses). The overall index score (0 to 100 points) is based on individual scores concerning price, quality, product range, shopping experience, service and consumer trust. According to the source an overall index score of more than 75 points is to be considered as a very good result, whereas scores lower than 70 indicate weaknesses in specific areas.
