When working and retired French adults were asked in the beginning of 2021 about their expectations regarding achieving the retirement income they consider necessary to support their life after retirement, the largest share of respondents stated that they were unsure if they were on track to achieve this or not. A total of ** respondents reported having this expectation, followed by ** percent of individuals who reported being on track to receive around half of their retirement income. The share of people that reported being fully on track to achieve their retirement income stood at ** percent as of 2021.
