At the beginning of October 2022, a first round of consultations on the reform of the pension system began between the French government and the social partners. When interviewed on this subject at the end of September, slightly less than ** of French people considered this reform as a priority, and a quarter of them saw it as secondary. For ** percent of the respondents, it was important, but not a priority. Those most likely to consider the reform as a priority were craftspersons and merchants, as well as retired people. Conversely, only ** percent of executives and intermediate professions considered it a priority.
