This survey displays the perception of whether or not it should be legal to allow doctors to assist an adult patient, that is terminally ill, in ending their life through prescription of a life-ending medication as of 2015 for those living in the United States. During this time, 52 percent of those surveyed in the country said it should be legal for a doctor to prescribe life-ending medication that the patient could take themselves.
