This survey displays the perception of whether or not it should be legal to allow doctors to assist an adult patient, that is not terminally ill but is suffering mentally, in ending their life, as of 2015, among those living in the United States. During this time, 29 percent of those surveyed in the country said it should be legal for a doctor to assist these patients in ending their life.
