Credit transfers, or wire transfers, are a method of electronic funds transfer from one entity or person to another (such as for ex. bank transfers, which rely on a secure system messages (such as SWIFT) from the sending bank to the receiving bank).

This statistic presents the annual change rate in credit transfers carried out in the euro area from 2010 to 2019. An increase of 6.6 percent was reported from 2018 to 2019 in the total number of credit transfers in the eurozone.
