Annually, some 100,000 respondents are contacted, and any who have returned from an overnight trip within the past four weeks are asked to describe the details of that trip. Please note that the latest 2019 results are provisional and subject to minor changes in subsequent months due to the inclusion of trip-takers returning from late trips. Figures have been rounded.
