In 2021, Russian diamond mining company Alrosa had the highest operating margin among the leading diamond producers worldwide, at ** percent. Most of the diamond mining companies' EBIT margin was affected by the COVID-19 crisis in 2020, with all four major mining companies posting recovered EBIT margins in 2021.
