This graph shows the results of two independent polls conducted in June 2013, measuring the level of public acceptance of the NSA phone tracking and data collection on citizens without the necessity of a suspicion of any wrongdoing. The results are divided. The majority of the respondents of the Rasmussen poll are against governmental data collection (59%). The majority of the Pew poll are in favor of data collection as a measure against terrorism (56%).
