In the first quarter of 2025, T-Mobile US had around **** million mobile prepaid customers. The number has been slowly but steadily growing since 2013. The decrease in the third quarter of 2019 is due to an adjustment to reflect a new agreement with a current MVNO partner.
T-Mobile's prepaid customers account for about a fifth of the company's total consumer base. Close to ** percent the telecom provider's subscribers are postpaid mobile contract customers.
Branded postpaid customers generally include subscribers who receive the wireless communication services for their devices first and pay for them afterward.
