* Effective January 1, 2017, an accounting principle was changed. The imputed discount on Equipment Installment Plan (鈥淓IP鈥) receivables, which is amortized over the financed installment term using the effective interest method, and was previously presented within Interest income in the Consolidated Statements of Comprehensive Income, is now presented within Other revenues in the Consolidated Statements of Comprehensive Income. This change has been applied retrospectively and the effect of $280 million, $248 million, $414 million, $356 million and $185 million has been presented on the years ended December 31, 2017, 2016, 2015, 2014 and 2013, respectively.
