Arch Resources, formerly known as Arch Coal, generated nearly 3.15 billion U.S. dollars of revenue in 2023. This was a decrease of nearly 600 million U.S. dollars in comparison to the previous year.Â
Arch Coal was a U.S. company that mined, processed, and marketed bituminous and sub-bituminous coal with low sulfur content. In January 2025, Arch Resources and Consol Energy completed a merger of equals to form Core Natural Resources.
