More than 50 percent of the Spanish population rejects one of the most important measures of the new abortion law promoted by the Government, which will allow minors aged 16 and 17 to terminate pregnancy without parental consent. Voters of left-wing parties, such as PSOE and UP, are the ones who view this project more favorably, while four-fifths of voters of some right-wing party expressed opposition to the final approval of this measure.
