* The A.T. Kearney FDI Confidence Index is an indicator of confidence in foreign direct investment, produced annually by the consulting firm A.T. Kearney and based on the opinions of executives from international companies. The index includes the 25 most attractive countries in the world for foreign direct investment.
** The respondents are C-level executives, employees of the company whose managerial title begins with the word "Chief." The companies participating in the survey have annual revenues equal to or greater than 500 million U.S. dollars, belong to all economic sectors, and are headquartered in 30 different countries.
In this statistic, decimal data have been changed to thousands (for example, 2,340 is recorded as 2.340) to prevent rounding from affecting the ranking.

In 2024, the United States ranked for the twelfth consecutive year as the most attractive country for foreign direct investment, according to the results of the Kearney FDI Confidence Index. Canada and China complete the podium, while Spain holds the ninth position in the ranking.
