Reasons to buy from physical travel agencies in Spain in 2023
In 2023, only 18 percent of Spaniards who purchased tourism products did so through physical travel agencies. Within this group, the main reason for choosing this channel was the attention from salespeople, mentioned by 43 percent of respondents. Although prices were the second most cited reason, it is worth noting that, at least in the case of tour packages and boat trips, purchases from online agencies are significantly more economical than those from physical agencies.
