The number of summer vacation trips made by residents in Spain increased from nearly ** million recorded in 2015 to million in 2019. However, in 2020, this number dropped to million due to restrictions resulting from the COVID-19 pandemic. From 2021 onwards, the positive trend resumed, and in 2024, nearly ** million trips were recorded. Without a doubt, the summer season is one of the favorites among Spaniards to take a well-deserved break.
