In 2020, due to the impact of the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, roughly ** percent of the survey sample claimed to have been on summer vacations, decreasing from ** percent in 2019. As estimated, the share of Italian summer vacationers is expected to reach ** percent in 2021.
