The data correspond to estimates from the Resident Tourism Survey of the National Institute of Statistics of Spain. Since February 2015, it has continued the Statistics of Tourist Movements of Spaniards (Familitur) from the General Subdirectorate of Knowledge and Tourism Studies of Spain.
This statistic presents the main reasons why residents in Spain aged 55 or older did not go on vacation during the year 2018. As can be seen, the majority of respondents aged between 55 and 64 who reported not having traveled in the last 12 months did so for financial reasons.
