As of March, the United States was the country analyzed that had reduced its benchmark interest rates the most, by *** basis points, to address the impact of COVID-19 and ensure economic stability in the face of the risk of a sharp recession. Following this were Turkey and Canada, both with a decrease of 100 basis points. In the case of the eurozone countries, no measures had yet been taken in this regard.
