The loan industry is constantly growing in France and offers various services necessary to the country's economical survival. Despite the development of fintech and the introduction of new financing instruments,traditional bank loans have been able to keep their leading position in the industry. In 2019, more than 47 percent of French households had taken out at least one credit. Even though this detention rate has decreased slightly over the last 10 years, the household debt ratio has kept increasing in France.
