The survey "International Electricity & Natural Gas Report & Price" conducted in 2015 by NUS Consulting is based on fixed contractual prices over 12 months starting from June 1, 2015, for a supply of 1,000 kilowatts with a usage of 450 hours. All prices are excluding VAT.

This statistic shows electricity prices in the world's major economies in June 2022. In the United States, the electricity price was 18 U.S. cents per kilowatt-hour compared to less than 1 cent in China and Russia. In France, electricity consumers paid 22 U.S. cents per kilowatt-hour, approximately 20 euro cents. These prices have increased significantly compared to previous years, illustrating the energy crisis affecting many regions of the world, including Europe.
